Which kind of driver’s license do I need?

For all the offered models (bikes) you should have the unrestricted driver’s license class A (Germany/Austria/Switzerland) or 1A (Germany).

May I share the bike with a second rider?

Of course you can share a bike together as long as both of you have the required driver’s license.

Can I borrow biking clothes and helmet?

Eagle Rider provides helmets for free. Clothes (leatherjacket, etc.) are to be brought along by you....... as well as the own helmet, which would fit the best.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

In California and Nevada there is a helmet law, in Arizona and Utah you must wear glasses or Motorcycle protection glasses, but helmets are not obligatory.

Should I better be an experienced biker?

You should be at least 21 years of age and know how to ride a bike in a little group without endangering others and yourself, otherwise it could be nerve wrecking.

How is the bike insured?

The insurance includes the compulsory 1 million dollar standard - liability insurance. Additional insurances like burglary- or private accident insurance can be purchased locally.

Do I need health insurance?

The best would be to complete one in Germany.

What if my bike is striking?

For emergency we have back-up bikes on the escort vehicle, simply exchange bikes and the trip continues.

Do I need a Visa for traveling to the US?

For entering the states, persons with German citizenship need a valid passport (since Oct. 26th 2004 the machine readable read European passport).
Without Visa only with the “Visa Waiver Program”. (last updated Oct. 2004 -changes reserved)

As a non German Citizenship you might need a Visa for traveling to the US.
